A family-owned business specializing in the sale of trailers, parts, and services, we are currently looking for our next Sales Representative for the South Shore area of Montreal. If you are a dynamic person who is passionate about business development and has solid sales experience, this position is for you!

Responsabilities

  1. Business development: Identify new business opportunities, analyze market trends, and develop strategies to increase revenue. You will be responsible for maximizing sales growth by targeting prospects and exploring leads in key sectors.
  2. Account management and customer relations: Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers while developing strategic partnerships. Follow up regularly with customers to assess their satisfaction and respond to their needs. You will also need to demonstrate expertise in after-sales service, warranties, and technical support to strengthen customer loyalty.
  3. Management of the South Shore of Montreal: Independently manage your territory and organize regular visits to meet with customers. You will be responsible for maintaining in-depth knowledge of your accounts, taking care to identify each customer’s specific needs in order to offer customized solutions.
  4. Complete sales process: Prepare detailed quotes, give product presentations and demonstrations, negotiate and close sales. You will be involved in all stages of the sales process, from prospecting to closing, ensuring customer satisfaction at every step.
  5. Forecasting and performance monitoring: Regularly analyze your results, make revenue forecasts, and adjust your actions to achieve defined objectives. Effectively use the internal CRM to track opportunities and ongoing projects.
  6. Internal collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (marketing, customer service, technical support).

Requirements

  • More than 5 years of experience in heavy equipment sales or a related field
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Bilingual (French and English)
  • Industry knowledge and ability to learn products quickly
  • Proven success in business development and account management
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and sales skills
  • Able to travel to the United States on occasion
  • Sectors of experience (asset): transportation, excavation, industrial, heavy construction.

Territory to cover

South Shore of Montreal to Highway 55, Sherbrooke, Trois-Rivières and Vaudreuil

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Additional compensation: Commissions
  • Experience: Heavy equipment sales or related field: 5 years (Required)
  • Language: French and English (Required)
